One Skirt Many Styles – Ritzy Brunch Date..!!

Story of my Life!

BFF: Hey Babe, it’s almost weekend! Yay!!
Me: I know! can’t wait for the week to get over. So what are we doing this weekend?
BFF: Remember we have a girly brunch date on Sunday.
Me: Oh yea! So exciting.. But WAIT!! UGHHHH.. I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR

**Staring at the closet full of clothes and talking to self**  “Seriously! I have nothing to wear. Maybe the dress I bought for the party last week.. No! can’t wear that.. pictures are posted everywhere Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat.. Maybe I should go shopping tomorrow<3”

First world problems isn’t it? I’m sure this is the story of every girl’s life. No matter how much we love shopping our bank accounts don’t. Smarter way to deal with this situation is to style your wardrobe the way you love while staying in budget. I try to invest in clothes which I can use to create multiple looks. Getting in the fall mood I decided to go with a military-inspired olive green as this color du jour ends up feeling just as glam as it is grunge.

Ritzy walk around the SoHo Neighborhood

Soho

SohoSunday brunch scenes are a routine for New Yorkers who love to indulge in french toasts and pancakes all over the city whether it’s in SoHo or in Midtown. My most favorite spot to wrap my hands around a hot cup of latte and have laugh gags with my BFFs is SoHo (South of Houston Street). It is a neighborhood in Lower manhattan known for its trendy upscale boutiques, international store outlets, historic cobble streets and of course it’s a popular brunching spot.
One fashion rule to keep in mind for the brunch date is: keep it CLASSY.  Be it a date night with your partner or a girly affair, midi skirts are the best fit for any occasion. Midi skirts are my absolute favorite as they add a classy flair to the look. You can pair it up with a crop top, fitted blouse, a cape or a buttoned blouse. For this look I chose the victorian inspired bow tie blouse with elegant high neck. I deliberately picked a softer hue to give entire attention to my skirt.

ACCESSORY OBSESSION

Oversized Sunnies: Flattering my new oversized round metal wire sunnies sponsored by Chloe gives my dress a retro look. What fun walking on the cobble streets and hogging over the yummy macarons, I indeed wanted to feel like Parisian for a day.

LadureeMini Handbag:
The NOW TRENDING Mini Handbags have made its way into the accessory spotlight. This latest addition’s sleek, subtle and feminine look adds a dash of retro flair and takes the look to the next level. My Ralph Lauren Bag

Color Popper: Adding a kick to my brunch date look with a red smoocher. Since BOLD matte lips are on trend, I decided to go with this velvety popping color that never goes out of style.

The Bling Game: Make a bold statement and flaunt your remarkable style with a gorgeous statement jewelry. No matter if its a casual brunch place or a fancy restaurant, chances are you’ll be holding a mimosa glass or a tea cup, a moment that always looks better with a bit of bling on your finger.

Neutral Shoes

Shoegasm: Pairing my beige knotted blouse with neutral pumps!

Fall mornings may get a bit chilly but don’t let the morning weariness and sunday laziness keep you from dressing your best! You can still pull of a smashing look with a sexy coat on or an embellished or printed jacket. This long-sleeve blouse and midi skirt is the perfect classy-yet-sexy solution. Don’t forget to fuel up with lots of french patisserie before a shopping day at Soho <3
